Terrible reception ruins otherwise great medical practice

The reception is a significant letdown for this medical practice. While the doctors are excellent when you finally see them, the front desk experience is abysmal. What I initially thought might be an isolated incident of poor service has proven to be a consistent problem over the past 6-8 months. I've personally observed the receptionist being unnecessarily harsh with vulnerable patients. Her behavior is incredibly unprofessional - she continues typing while supposedly engaging with you, never making eye contact, and seeming so disinterested that it's questionable whether she's even paying attention. This lack of focus likely explains why she forgot to schedule my appointment, resulting in a 50-minute wait to see the GP. She brazenly discusses patients' private information in the open reception area and asks invasive questions when booking appointments, completely disregarding any sense of confidentiality. The reception seems chronically understaffed. The doctors remain top-notch, but something has clearly deteriorated in the practice's overall service quality over the past couple of years, which is a stark contrast to how things used to be.
