Terrible Reception Staff Missed My Serious Tonsillitis

The reception team displays poor listening skills. I explained my week-long sore throat and detailed my attempts with paracetamol and lozenges, yet they dismissively suggested seeing a pharmacist, claiming it's standard protocol for a "typical" sore throat. This advice is completely misguided. I only contacted the GP because my condition was deteriorating and I was experiencing excruciating pain. My lymph nodes are significantly swollen and the inflammation continues to worsen. FAILED TO RECEIVE TONSILLITIS TREATMENT due to reception staff's negligent oversight of basic medical assessment. Furthermore, as someone who pays for prescriptions, their blanket reference to "guidelines" is particularly frustrating and unhelpful.
