Terrible service

Absolutely disgusting service. Not only do you have to wait 5 weeks for an appointment, they feel entitled to mess around with taking off your repeat prescriptions without telling you. I came here as a student in October 2025, booked an appointment to get my sleep meds reviewed as it was no longer working. GP said he’d do a referral to a psychiatrist and therefore would wean off my current meds. He took it off my repeat prescriptions without telling me and considering how long it takes for a referral to materialise, I needed some sleep support but the practice was so against prescribing this medication to me again so I went through 4 months of hassle until I finally got it re-prescribed. I called up reception who confirmed a referral was made in November. I found out 6 months after October (in March) that no referral was ever made. I made a SAR request as a result of this, and discovered an undisclosed letter confirming my current medication could be increased in dosage where I was consistently told before that it could not - this letter was a month old and I would not know of it if not for the SARs. I received a text today saying they are putting me on a new medication. They did not give me any information whatsoever about this new medication - instead, on my NHS app, my current medication is completely removed AGAIN and no new medication is added. DO NOT go to this GP practice, especially if you are a student on repeat medication. They will mess you around consistently and they don’t know what each other are doing, let alone themselves. Diabolical service from them.
