Terrible service and no appointments at this surgery

Very frustrating. I've been attempting to schedule an appointment for two consecutive days between 8:30 am and 9 am without success. Throughout this period, the surgery's phone line remains consistently engaged. When I finally got through, the receptionist was unhelpful and displayed poor communication skills, refusing to listen. She claimed no appointments were available today due to electronic system issues, insisting this was a global problem and that I couldn't get an appointment anywhere, even through 111. Her statements seemed deliberately misleading, essentially pushing me towards A&E. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this surgery, despite their apparently competent doctors. The practice appears oversubscribed, continually registering new patients while existing patients struggle to secure appointments. The receptionist was particularly rigid and unaccommodating. I've made over 100 calls during the designated hour across two days and still cannot book an appointment. I require a doctor's consultation, not an emergency room visit. As a taxpayer who contributes fully to national insurance, I expect quality medical service. I'm seriously considering changing my GP, especially given their poor CQC rating.
