Terrible service and unacceptable medical negligence

Dear Hillview Surgery, I am deeply frustrated and distressed by the service I have received. I was compelled to contact the receptionist to highlight their oversight in not including critical examination results with an urgent referral document. It is completely unacceptable that a patient must remind medical staff about fundamental NHS referral protocols - the lack of professionalism from the GP and referrals team is shocking. While we are already experiencing significant appointment delays due to COVID-related backlogs, such critical errors can potentially extend waiting times and unnecessarily prolong patient suffering. I sincerely hope these unacceptable mistakes are not repeated for any future patients. I urge you to carefully consider this incident and take steps to enhance the quality of patient care. Although I am grateful for the online service that enabled me to quickly identify and rectify this serious administrative error, I am dismayed that the mistake had already caused a delay in my treatment. Thank you.
