Terrible service and unhelpful medical reception staff

The receptionist's lack of professionalism creates significant barriers to accessing medical care. They seem to arbitrarily decide which patients can or cannot see a doctor. Indeed, if you're seeking medical attention, you'll likely face considerable challenges securing an appointment. Their gatekeeping approach appears intentionally restrictive. Can this even be considered a legitimate medical practice? Their staff should understand they're running a healthcare facility, not staging a dramatic performance. The entire situation is utterly disappointing and embarrassing. While we're all aware the NHS has its limitations, I anticipated at least a basic standard of service from a healthcare provider. Why do receptionists consistently prove to be the weakest link in medical service delivery?
