Terrible service destroying patient care and dignity

I sincerely hope local authorities conduct a thorough investigation into this medical practice, as it is extremely mismanaged. My elderly mother has been unable to secure a face-to-face doctor's appointment for over six years, and on the rare occasions she has attended, she booked to see a doctor but was instead assigned a nurse who was unable to provide the necessary support. The receptionist is consistently discourteous, constantly interrupting and preventing patients from speaking, and will abruptly end calls if challenged, despite the surgery's fundamental purpose of supporting sick individuals who need help. Moreover, they demanded my mother, who is over 70, book a doctor's appointment—which is practically impossible—and then charge her over £45 for a private letter to be written in the doctor's personal time, requested by the DVLA to confirm she does not use insulin for her diabetes. It is utterly unsurprising that patients are forced to spend hours in accident and emergency departments, consuming resources that should be managed by practices like this, which are fundamentally failing those who have contributed to the healthcare system throughout their entire working lives.
