Terrible service for helicobacter pylori patient

I've been dealing with a helicobacter pylori infection for three months now. After completing antibiotic treatment with a previous doctor, I switched to this new GP. When I called to schedule a follow-up test, the reception said they needed to consult the doctor first. I spent two days making repeated calls, with each interaction promising that the doctor would contact me that day. Ultimately, they asked me to wait two more days. I'm completely baffled by this unnecessary delay. Why does it take four days just to get approval for a simple appointment, especially when the receptionist is right next to the doctor and could ask in mere seconds? I explained that I've been suffering for months, but they showed zero empathy or urgency. The service is absolutely terrible. I'm definitely going back to my previous GP who was much more responsive and caring.
