Terrible service from rude and unhelpful receptionist

I phoned to schedule an appointment and inquired about my condition. When I explained my symptoms and mentioned a friend's similar experience who was immediately seen and quickly scheduled for an operation and biopsy, I was frustrated to learn I'd have to wait two weeks just for an initial consultation. The receptionist's attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. She coldly stated, "If you've had this condition this long, two more weeks won't matter," which struck me as completely inappropriate. I'm not a medical professional, but neither is she - so who is she to make such judgments? I tried explaining that I've been monitoring a lump hoping it would resolve itself, but it hasn't. This isn't the first time I've encountered poor service from this medical practice. The receptionist came across as incredibly rude, making me feel like an unwelcome nuisance she wanted to quickly get rid of. Her lack of empathy and compassion was shocking. I am definitely not satisfied with this experience.
