Terrible service from unhelpful medical receptionist

My encounter with a male receptionist this afternoon was extremely frustrating. He was completely unhelpful when I tried to obtain a repeat prescription for a critical medication that I had ordered online 8 days prior but had not yet reached the pharmacy. Despite explaining the serious side effects of not taking my medication, he dismissively told me to call 111. When I did so, they informed me the surgery had 'a duty of care' and advised me to contact them again. Upon reconnecting, I encountered the same receptionist who remained obstinate, refusing to assist me, blocking my attempts to speak with a Manager, G.P., or medication team, and abruptly ending the call! I was forced to call 111 again, who apologized for his behavior. They suggested I call back after 6:30 p.m., which was nonsensical while the surgery was still open. This receptionist desperately needs comprehensive training in customer service and basic professional courtesy.
