Terrible service leaves patient without critical medication

I called the medical practice midweek using their answering service for a prescription, but when I went to the pharmacy today, no script was available. The pharmacist helpfully phoned the surgery, who claimed they had no log of my previous request. Now I'm forced to wait until Monday and risk depleting my medication supply, which could potentially cause me health complications. Thankfully, my pharmacy staff are wonderfully supportive - unlike this new medical practice, which is disappointing me on multiple fronts...
