Terrible service left vulnerable patient feeling helpless

As an elderly 86-year-old patient, I found the entire experience deeply frustrating. My MacMillan nurse suggested I contact the doctor's receptionist, but the staff member was unnecessarily harsh and dismissive. Despite my health challenges, I attempted to schedule appointments as recommended, yet was met with complete indifference. The receptionist's attitude towards a vulnerable, unwell senior was completely unacceptable. I was unable to complete the online form and felt utterly distressed by the lack of compassion. There was absolutely no justification for treating a sick, older individual with such disrespect.
