Terrible Wait for Sick Baby on Monday Morning

I've been a loyal patient at this medical practice for years without significant issues. However, yesterday (Monday morning), my experience was deeply frustrating. After waiting 20 minutes on hold after the phone lines opened, I was informed that no appointments were available for my critically ill 10-month-old daughter. She was not eating, not drinking, screaming in pain, and visibly distressed. They dismissively suggested I contact urgent care, which ultimately led to us ending up in the emergency room hours later. The hospital diagnosed her with low blood sugar, dehydration, high fever, and gastroenteritis. The medical staff explicitly stated that the practice should not have refused to see a child under one year old. As a result, I am preparing a formal complaint to be submitted to the practice manager, as their negligence potentially endangered my child's health.
