The Worse Practice I have known...

This practice fails on so many levels I find it hard to begin. Serious matters are not taken seriously, medication does not arrive on time and elderly patients are given no understanding and little help. My elderly mother finds it impossible to pick up her medication as it has either not been issued by the practice or has not been dispensed yet. If it is in the pharmacy I have experienced waits of half an hour because, "If you would like to take a seat I will find it all for you and get it to you," this take a seat may lasy for a long long time. The pharmacy blames the computer and the home delivery for medication works on a intermittant and ad hoc basis. Luckily I only deal with this practice on behalf of my parents, I am hapilly with another surgery that is only a stones throw away. Tax payers deserve more and tlose with serious conditions need to be reassured not given the run around.
