Tragic medical negligence leads to devastating loss

Reception staff mistreated me when I inquired about my dad calling 115 times with no answer. She claimed she picked up and said my dad was experiencing chest pain and panicking. She alleged she transferred the call, saying he was dialing the wrong services. Tragically, he passed away that day (15/03/23) from a heart attack, which we discovered on Friday. They even changed their contact number that week, seemingly to cover up their actions. Alarmed by her statements, I started recording our conversation. She then called the police, accusing me of taking photos and recording her, while I was merely trying to gather evidence of her misconduct towards me and my dad. When police arrived, they stated no crime had been committed. She subsequently had me removed from their patient list, preventing me from registering with any other GP, all because I sought to document her behavior. This is an utterly disgraceful practice that essentially let my dad die. I have life-threatening conditions and am now without medical support. I'm devastated and suffering from panic attacks and PTSD, experiencing nightmares. They consistently ignore patients and show no compassion. I warn others to avoid this surgery, as they've failed not just me, but other family members, including my grandparents who died due to their negligence. The reception staff lack empathy and will leave patients suffering in terrible pain. Despite my immense physical struggles, they do nothing to help. I feel like I'm dying, and they dismiss my concerns as mental health issues. I'm desperate, terrified, and don't know where to turn. If I die, it will be because they abandoned me. - Lisa McNamara
