Unacceptable medical care leaves patient frustrated

My wife recently attempted to contact her doctor's office regarding the results of a scan performed at St. Helier Hospital, which has been pending for weeks. Previously, Dr. Cockbain had reported a scan as normal, but given her underlying COPD condition, she urgently needs to know about medication timing. Upon calling the surgery and requesting a return call, the receptionist informed her that a callback would only occur on March 15th. This delay is completely unacceptable, and we are demanding an explanation for such a prolonged waiting period. While we acknowledge the challenges of the COVID pandemic, it seems doctors now have reduced patient interactions and are redirecting many inquiries to 111, so a brief phone call should not take two weeks. They appear to be using COVID as a convenient excuse, which is absolutely DISGRACEFUL. We sincerely hope for a timely response to our concerns!!
