Uncaring doctors fail to address complex health needs

While many complaints circulate about reception staff and waiting periods, my primary concern with this GP practice actually lies with the physicians themselves. I have intricate health requirements that this surgery appears completely uninterested in addressing. I've essentially been informed that despite my existing medications and ongoing health challenges, resolving these issues is entirely my responsibility, with the GP refusing to intervene (even though NICE and NHS guidelines suggest multiple potential actions). I'm instructed to undergo blood tests, but subsequent appointments provide no follow-up. Doctors neglect to review previous medical history before consultations. Numerous instances exist where concerns identified during annual reviews are subsequently ignored, with medical staff showing zero commitment to escalating these matters. Compassion is entirely absent here. The doctors will observe your emotional distress and then proceed to blame you for your condition. They only respond when persistently confronted, requiring multiple visits and assertive communication. Demonstrably overwhelmed by complex cases, particularly those involving mental health challenges. Improvement is desperately needed. I'm transitioning to an alternative GP practice, despite this surgery being mere steps from my home. That fact alone speaks volumes about my experience.
