Uneven care could have cost me my life

The medical practice here presents a mixed bag when it comes to doctors. The quality of care varies significantly between practitioners. I encountered a GP who consistently downplayed my symptoms, but fortunately, another doctor took my concerns seriously and ordered crucial tests. Without that one compassionate physician, my ovarian cancer might have gone undetected, potentially leading to fatal consequences. A frustrating pattern emerges where doctors tend to tunnel-vision on existing chronic conditions, potentially overlooking unrelated health issues. I understand the immense pressure and patient volume they face, but such narrow-minded approaches border on medical negligence. On a positive note, the reception staff have notably improved, and the nursing team is outstanding. Of the GPs, I'd rate two as exceptional, two as mediocre, and two as completely unacceptable – to the point where I actively avoid them.
