Unfriendly Staff Rushed Me Through Appointment

Upon arrival, the receptionist greeted me warmly and with courtesy, but unfortunately, the subsequent interactions with the hearing test nurse and ENT consultant were far from pleasant. The nurse summoned me with a complete lack of engagement, avoiding eye contact and walking well ahead of me to the examination room. Her demeanor was devoid of any warmth - no smile, no welcoming words, just curt, impersonal instructions delivered in a detached manner. Subsequently, I was ushered to see the ENT advisor/consultant - though I'm uncertain of his exact role. He mirrored the nurse's approach, appearing equally disinterested and distant, posing only the most cursory questions about my condition. During my brief 5-minute consultation - which followed a three-month wait - I felt distinctly rushed and as though I was an inconvenience. I had anticipated receiving meaningful guidance or insight, but instead departed feeling entirely let down. It seems the genuine passion for their profession has completely evaporated from these healthcare professionals. Ultimately, I sincerely hope others encounter a more compassionate experience, and that I won't need to return.
