Unhelpful associate left me terrified and anxious

I consulted with a GP Associate, who never informed me beforehand that I would not be seeing a qualified GP. During two appointments, she measured my blood pressure three times on the second visit. She declared my blood pressure was extremely high and noticed my hands were trembling. As I was becoming increasingly nervous and suffering from anxiety, I inquired about the implications. She dramatically suggested I might be at risk of a heart attack, stroke, and Type 2 Diabetes. My stress levels escalated while she appeared eager to conclude the consultation. I desperately wanted more information about potential serious health risks, but she displayed no empathy. The experience felt like receiving a potential death sentence without any meaningful explanation. Seeking a second opinion, I transferred to another medical practice. My symptoms were primarily driven by anxiety and panic attacks, leaving me terrified. I was convinced I was on the brink of a stroke or heart attack at any moment. During registration at the new practice, the receptionist inquired about a cancelled 12-point ECG appointment that my previous practice had scheduled without my knowledge. A genuine GP subsequently examined me and confirmed my blood pressure was perfectly normal. The GP Associate had essentially misdiagnosed me, causing weeks of unnecessary terror. I attempted to lodge a complaint via telephone, was directed to write a letter, and did so. The letter received no acknowledgment. Upon following up, I was told about a 10-day response policy, yet a month passed before receiving a response. The eventual letter contained a mere apology, devoid of any substantive explanation - mirroring the superficial consultation itself. This approach suggests an institution more concerned with self-preservation than genuine patient care. They appear to be circumventing proper NHS and BMA complaint procedures, demonstrating a fundamental disregard for patient welfare and professional standards.
