Unhelpful doctor crushes patient's hope and trust

I'm utterly dismayed by the treatment my partner experienced at this medical practice. Having recently moved to Wells two years ago, this was his first visit, and he's not someone who seeks medical attention without genuine need. While the receptionist was wonderfully helpful in scheduling an appointment the following week, the doctor's behavior was shockingly unprofessional. She seemed intent on rushing him out, dismissively claiming nothing could be done, clearly hadn't reviewed his medical history, and even went so far as to suggest he needed to 'change his attitude'. Her complete lack of compassion has only heightened my partner's existing medical anxiety. He left the appointment feeling unsupported and uninformed, which is particularly disheartening for a first-time patient. We recognize the immense pressures facing the NHS, but when a patient who rarely seeks medical help is treated with such callousness, it's deeply troubling. Even when medical options are limited, there are compassionate ways to communicate with patients. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and has significantly undermined our confidence in this practice.
