Unhelpful doctor ruins otherwise great medical practice

I recently switched to this GP surgery from Central Uxbridge nearby. I'm pleased to report that the phone wait times and appointment scheduling are significantly improved compared to my previous practice, where I would spend over 45 minutes just trying to reach reception. The staff were welcoming both during my phone calls and when I visited in person. Unfortunately, my consultation with Dr Madock was deeply frustrating. When I inquired about my medical condition, she dismissively told me, verbatim, "I don't know, you'll have to look it up". It's unacceptable that I should be expected to research my own symptoms and potential treatments online. Everyone knows that internet searches are unreliable for medical advice! I asked about a specific medication that I know helps many patients with my condition, and while she claimed it wasn't effective, I found clear evidence on the NHS website confirming its benefits for symptom management. When I requested a blood test to investigate my condition further, she outright refused. I felt completely unsupported, with my legitimate health concerns seemingly ignored. While I can't comment on the other doctors at this surgery since I've only seen Dr Madock, my initial experience has been disappointing.
