Unhelpful mastercall service wasted my precious time

I scheduled an appointment due to ongoing COVID-19 symptoms after three weeks of illness, complicated by my pre-existing lung condition. The receptionist contacted me and redirected me to Mastercall, suggesting a doctor there could prescribe medication if necessary. I attended the Mastercall appointment, only to be told they couldn't provide any medication or arrange a chest x-ray. Instead, I was instructed to return to my original GP to handle these needs. This entire experience was completely useless and frustrating. I wasted an entire day with no resolution or support. The healthcare service was utterly unhelpful, and I fully intend to file a formal complaint with the Care Quality Commission. I want to warn others not to be brushed off by Mastercall's inability to provide proper medical assistance.
