Unhelpful receptionist ruins medical practice experience

I received a text to schedule a blood test but encountered difficulties logging into the Swiftqueue system. Dr Roberts suggested I visit reception to arrange the booking, as he also experienced login problems. Today, I finally had time to address the issue. The first receptionist, who appeared to be of Spanish descent, was unhelpful, disinterested, and failed to listen to my concerns. She used answering the phone as an excuse, despite three other staff members being available to take calls. I'm a patient too!!! Eventually, the young gentleman beside her stepped in and assisted me in resolving the problem. THAT WAS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! It seems hypocritical to display posters urging patients to be courteous when the receptionist displays such an attitude. That initial staff member reflected poorly on the reception team and does not uphold the standards of Mildmay Medical Practice. Based on previous reviews, it's evident that the reception staff require training in customer interaction and a reminder of their professional responsibilities.
