Unhelpful receptionist ruins patient's medical experience

I called the clinic as instructed by a voicemail from the receptionist. When rebooking as my GP suggested, I inquired about the reason for additional blood tests. The receptionist was unhelpful and became defensive when I requested she pass a message to the GP via ask.my.gp. I was told to contact them myself between 7am and 10am, which I explained was impossible due to work. She accused me of being rude, though I was simply seeking clarification. I felt like an inconvenience while trying to understand my medical care. Despite doctors being busy, I'm a patient dealing with health issues and seeking support. The receptionist's attitude has significantly increased my anxiety and depression. However, I must commend the phlebotomist and nurse practitioner, who were incredibly compassionate and professional. They reminded me that genuine, caring healthcare professionals do exist, and I'm grateful for their kindness and understanding.
