Unhelpful staff ruin good doctors experience

The doctors at this practice are competent, but the reception team is extremely disappointing. Their communication skills are abysmal, consistently claiming no appointment slots are available and providing inaccurate guidance. When I attempted to address a medical concern from the previous week, the receptionist dismissively suggested I go to the Emergency Department. The A&E staff were frustrated, stating my GP should have handled my request, but this seems impossible given the receptionists' unwillingness to listen. To make matters worse, when discussing a painful incident, a receptionist callously remarked "no pain no gain" - an utterly unprofessional and insensitive response that falls far below acceptable customer service standards.
