Unprofessional reception nearly ruined our medical visit

We arrived precisely at 15:24 for my daughter's 15:30 dermatology appointment, yet receptionist Emily immediately marked us as late. When I highlighted that we were actually on time, she promised to rectify the error. Moments later, my daughter received a notification stating she had missed her appointment and might be removed from the clinic's patient list. Upon returning to inquire, Emily appeared bewildered and advised us to disregard the message, insisting she merely logs arrivals and has no connection to the dermatology clinic. When the appropriate receptionist finally arrived, she investigated and discovered Emily had incorrectly checked in a different patient—my daughter remained erroneously marked as absent in the system. Emily offered no apology and proceeded to ignore us completely. Fortunately, the dermatology receptionist was exceptionally accommodating and successfully arranged for us to see the doctor. We are truly appreciative of her assistance and Dr. Goyal's willingness to see us despite the administrative chaos. While errors are understandable, healthcare environments demand professionalism, accountability, and basic human decency.
