Unprofessional receptionist ruins patient communication experience

I am formally bringing to your attention a service issue that occurred on August 1st, 2025, at around 3:15 PM during my interaction with your reception staff. When I called to obtain a GP contact number, the receptionist initially attempted to provide the information, but her voice was extremely low and unclear. Wanting to ensure accuracy, I courteously requested her to repeat the number multiple times. Rather than responding with understanding, she became agitated and began speaking loudly, accusing me of being unnecessarily repetitive. Upon challenging her aggressive tone, she defensively stated that her raised volume was a direct result of my repeated requests. I carefully explained that my multiple requests stemmed from genuine difficulty in hearing her clearly, and I reminded her that professional customer service requires patience and clear communication with callers.
