Urgent Care Struggles at Local Surgery

Scheduling an appointment here is incredibly challenging - despite my urgent medical needs, I was initially informed of a 3-4 week waiting period. The e-consult option proved marginally better, with a GP responding the next day around evening time. Unfortunately, the face-to-face consultation arranged for three days later was abruptly cancelled due to the doctor's illness, forcing me to return to reception and restart the entire booking process. I was again confronted with the same frustrating 3-week delay. After strongly emphasizing the urgency of my situation, I was eventually offered a telephone consultation for the following week. Although a specific time window was provided for the call, the GP rang earlier than expected, catching me away from my phone momentarily. Now I find myself back at square one, waiting anxiously and feeling increasingly helpless. The continuous barriers and lack of responsive care have convinced me to seek medical services elsewhere. I cannot recommend this practice to anyone seeking timely and reliable healthcare.
