Very Bad Experience.

I would like to express my concern regarding the recent experience with accessing medical care for my 6-year-old son. My son had a high fever, wheezing due to asthma, and was extremely weak and unable to stand. I contacted the GP practice and requested an urgent appointment, explaining his serious condition, but no appointment was provided. Later that day, his condition worsened and he had to be taken to the Children’s Hospital A&E by ambulance with oxygen support. He was admitted for critical care. After being discharged, he developed severe ear pain lasting two days. I again contacted the GP practice and explained the urgency, and an appointment was finally booked for the next day. We took time off to attend and arrived nearly 30 minutes early. However, we were informed that the appointment time had passed and he was not seen. My son has now been struggling with severe ear pain for three days, without any medical support from the GP. Due to the pain, he is unable to eat properly and I am very worried about the physical and emotional distress this is causing him. I respectfully request urgent medical attention and a review of how this situation was handled, as this has been a distressing and unacceptable experience for our family.
