Waiting room noise and lack of reading material disappoints
The waiting area creates an unpleasant atmosphere. The audio levels are uncomfortably high, with both a radio and television broadcasting simultaneously at competing volumes — this creates a disruptive environment rather than the peaceful setting one would expect before a medical consultation. The reading material selection is limited to gardening publications only, offering no diversity for different interests. There are also no entertainment options available for younger visitors — an absence of toys, books, or other diversions. The overall space feels uninviting, cold, and appears to lack thoughtful design consideration. A medical practice should ideally provide a tranquil and welcoming environment. This facility does not achieve that standard.

8 months agoWe are sorry that this was your experience when visiting the practice and have taken your comments on board. Unfortunately we had to remove toys from our waiting area some time ago. We do have lots of books provided by our lovely Patient Participation Group however and have recently added more plants to our waiting area. Hopefully your next visit will be a more pleasant experience.
This is an excellent medical practice with a genuinely compassionate approach to patient care.
