Waiting too long for direct doctor communication

I find it frustrating how long it takes to receive answers. Communication often comes through reception or nursing staff, and direct contact with a doctor is rare, which leaves me feeling dismissed. Eventually someone did speak with me, but there seemed to be limited understanding of my situation or how to address it properly. I had to explain how my condition affects me and the pain I experience. I had to push hard to obtain antibiotics, yet there appeared to be a willingness to continue prescribing strong painkillers and other medications that I'm concerned may be causing additional harm to my health. The practice would benefit from more straightforward and transparent communication overall.
