Wasted Morning at NHS Clinic

I scheduled an appointment for my daughter's 6-8 week vaccinations, but upon arrival, they had booked an unnecessary appointment for me without my request or consent. They informed me her slot was 45 minutes later, which was impossible as I needed to leave 30 minutes after the original time to pick up my other child from school. The NHS is already struggling, and such incompetence only exacerbates their challenges. Their response perfectly illustrates my frustration. My partner booked my baby's check-up with immunisation for 11:30, not 12:15 as they now claim. They arbitrarily decided to schedule a doctor's appointment for me that we never asked for or wanted. I arrived precisely at 11:30 for my daughter's appointment, which should have been sufficient, but wasn't seen until 11:50 and then told the slot was for me. It's both incompetent and presumptuous to suggest I need an appointment they think is important, disregarding my own feelings and circumstances. My daughter is now rebooked for immunisations at a time that accommodates my other child. I hope this time I won't waste my morning, allowing patients who genuinely need medical attention to be seen.
