Worst customer service in the 21st century

Updated Jan 2024 Still absolutely no improvement, and arguably the situation has deteriorated. I attempted to reschedule an appointment and endured an astonishing 105-minute wait to have my call answered (yes, that's one hour and forty-five minutes!!!). The subsequent conversation to move the appointment was brief. Surely technology and modern systems should enable a more streamlined process! We're supposedly living in the 21st Century!!! (supposedly) Updated Oct 2023 How can the NHS function when obtaining a doctor's appointment requires completing a form, then waiting five days for them to assess and determine the urgency of your medical need! Updated - After investing 2.5 hours attempting to phone for an appointment, I finally connected. Securing the appointment was straightforward, and the subsequent service was exceptional. It's tremendously frustrating that accessing this quality care requires such an arduous initial process. 1 star for the nightmarish connection experience, but 5 stars for the service afterward. Original - Absolutely unacceptable. When phoning to request an appointment, the answer machine indicated they couldn't even accept my call. Since their medical group merger, it appears they've chosen to minimize reception staffing costs!!
