Worst healthcare experience ever for pregnant patient

The service is utterly pointless. Despite rarely needing to use it due to having insurance, each interaction reinforces how dysfunctional the NHS has become. During a critical maternity follow-up, my doctor shared prescription details via KCH's MyChart app. I urgently needed to begin injections to prevent potential DVT, but they flatly rejected the prescription, claiming MyChart isn't an acceptable system. Adding insult to injury, they demand emergency appointments, yet these are only available before 8 am - rendering them useless for most genuine emergencies. Furthermore, even if I secure an appointment, they've informed my pharmacist that I must go to A&E to obtain my medication. As a 7-month pregnant mother with a toddler, this is absurd. I've already been bounced between emergency services and GP, and now they want me to further burden an overcrowded A&E simply to get a necessary prescription. Their complete disregard for patient welfare is shocking, and I will definitely be filing a formal complaint about their inexcusable lack of care and common sense.
