Beechwood Surgery has completely failed to meet even the most basic expectations of medical care. My encounters with various GP practices pale in comparison to the sheer incompetence I've experienced here. Booking an appointment is an absolute nightmare. The phone system is a black hole where time seems to stand still, and waiting weeks just to secure a slot is mind-numbingly frustrating. The physical environment of the practice is equally depressing. Walking in feels like entering a forgotten, neglected space that's simultaneously cold and chaotic. The atmosphere is anything but reassuring or professional. The personnel - from reception to medical staff - demonstrate a shocking lack of interpersonal skills. Their demeanor suggests patients are an inconvenience rather than their primary responsibility. Each interaction feels impersonal, mechanical, and devoid of basic human compassion. They communicate as if patients were mere administrative tasks rather than individuals seeking care. Beechwood Surgery desperately requires a comprehensive overhaul, starting with recruiting staff who possess genuine empathy and understanding of patient care. I cannot emphasize enough how strongly I advise against bringing your family, especially children, to this facility. The experience is nothing short of traumatic. While previous reviews suggest they might attempt damage control by reaching out, what they truly need is fundamental, systemic improvement in their approach to patient care and professional conduct.
