Worst medical practice ever frustrating and unprofessional

I'm experiencing numbness in my hands and feet, along with leg pain, which I believe stems from serious medical conditions based on my online research For weeks, I've attempted to schedule an appointment with my regular doctor who understands my medical history and has previously checked for diabetes and confirmed my carpal tunnel syndrome has resolved Each time I inquire about an appointment, the receptionist initially shakes her head, then suddenly asks me to wait while she checks Her initial head shake suggests she already knows something, or perhaps she doesn't Previously, they mentioned a four-week waiting list, with emergency surgery having limited availability Why would I remain patient? Frankly, this medical practice has deteriorated significantly, and giving them one star feels overly generous They should install an illuminated sign on the door indicating actual appointment availability, which would save patients considerable wasted time This would certainly be more effective than their phone system, where patients can spend 30 minutes on hold, only to be disconnected due to poor technological infrastructure like digital phone services After 20 years with this practice, I'm no longer frustrated—just completely indifferent. I could potentially die, and they'd bear responsibility, yet face no consequences since patients can never actually see a doctor
