Worst medical reception service ever experienced

18.6.2021 The receptionist I encountered was incredibly discourteous. When I called to schedule an appointment and inquire about my previously requested essential medication, she curtly informed me it had been rejected by the doctor, emphatically stating DONT ORDER IT AGAIN. (This marks the second instance of critical medicine being denied without any attempt to contact me using the provided phone numbers) She insisted I book an appointment online and completely disregarded my attempts to explain my situation, talking over me and then accusing me of being rude. This was entirely untrue. She was completely unhelpful and abruptly terminated the call. This receptionist demonstrates extreme unprofessionalism, rudeness, and brings embarrassment to the medical practice. She is clearly unsuited to patient interactions and desperately requires comprehensive customer service training. The entire encounter was deeply distressing. I subsequently spent over an hour struggling to book an appointment through klinik, finding the process overwhelmingly complex with numerous irrelevant questions. Eventually, I located the "contact the surgery for follow up form" and completed it. Fortunately, the doctor responded compassionately, conducting a home visit and arranging the previously requested medication. He was bewildered by the initial medication rejection and meticulously discussed my situation. This experience highlights how reception staff can create significant barriers to patient care. The surgery must recognize that online systems are not universally accessible, particularly for individuals without internet access or those with learning difficulties who struggle with complex forms.
