Worst surgery experience ever terrible customer service

Absolutely the most terrible medical practice I've ever encountered. The customer service was far worse than a French doctor's office where no English was spoken. It's evident that the receptionist despises their job and life, which is painfully apparent in their treatment of patients. I confronted two staff members, stating, "It seems none of the receptionists care about patients," to which I received a dismissive "ye" response. The staff member quickly realized her mistake and attempted to backtrack, claiming, "If that's what you think. All receptionists are part-time." I am completely devastated and more hurt than words can express. I needed critical information and was required to pay, with the practice being quick to take my money but incredibly slow to fulfill my request. My mortgage and family's livelihood depend on receiving this letter, which I've already paid for. The service and system here are absolutely deplorable. I'm constantly told to call back next week for an appointment, only to be told I can't get one and should ring back tomorrow. I'm thoroughly fed up with this surgery's practices. I will be filing a formal complaint with the NHS and ombudsman, as this level of rudeness is completely unacceptable. The doctors and nurses I've met seem polite, kind, and professional - it's solely the front-of-house staff that are problematic. Truly wicked people.
