Worst Surgery Experience: Months of Runaround

This surgery could not be more incompetent if it deliberately tried to be. Three months to secure an appointment, and on the scheduled day, the receptionist abruptly cancelled via telephone, claiming 'staff illness', promising to call back the next day to reschedule. After three days of silence, I initiated contact, only to find them completely unapologetic about their lack of communication. They then proposed an alternative appointment approximately two months later - effectively extending the total waiting period to around five months for accessing basic medical care. The receptionist dismissively labeled my case 'non-urgent', based on an allegedly illegal telephone consultation conducted by an unqualified non-clinician who failed to properly listen to my symptoms. When challenged, the surgery denied this consultation occurred and conveniently claimed all related records had vanished, despite our possession of phone records proving their initial contact. We formally requested the name and registration details of the individual who inappropriately diagnosed patients, a request which the surgery has systematically ignored. The receptionists consistently demonstrate rudeness and condescension, displaying an arrogant attitude that seems to derive perverse satisfaction from obstructing patient access to medical professionals. Given our ongoing denial of medical care, we are left with no alternative but to file a formal complaint with the CQC.
